Abstract

Code refactoring is a important filed of software engineering contemporarily. In the process of software development and software maintenance, programmers get to know its importance gradually. First of all, this article introduced the related content of code refactoring systematically from several scope, such as the definitions of refactoring,the meaning of refactoring and the timing of refactoring. Then, the paper enumerates a list of common code smells that refactoring needs to solve. Finally, this article combined with a specific instance to show the emerge and the process of refactoring of duplicate code.
