Abstract

Through studies on the biodegradation course of nitrobenzene and p-nitrophenol mixed system, the influence of adding -cyclodextrin and its derivative carboxymethyl--cyclodextrin (CMCD) on the biodegradation of the mixed system was explored. P-nitrophenol could not be degraded alone. P-nitrophenol could produce co-metalolism with nitrobenzene; and its concentration influenced the degradation degree of the system. Addition of cyclodextrin could promote the degradation rate of p-nitrophenol, the degree of influence was related to the concentration of p-nitrophenol and the kind and amount of cyclodextrin.
