Abstract
By comparing Chinese costume of Ming Dynasty and European costume of Renaissance,the author analyzes the features of costume and aesthetic requirements in different cultures and political background,and puts forward the idea of combining the features of Chinese and western costume which is considered as the designing trend of modern costume.
