Some people hold that socialim is opposed to capitalism, which are quite different social system. The auther believes the notion that the emergence of socialism means the doom of capitalism goes against the reality of historical development. In fact, socialism relates closely to capitalism and globalization carries the relation foward to a new historical stage.
