Abstract
The structure features and development trends of organic film capacitors are analyzed.The advantages of organic film capacitor to replace electrolytic capacitor are suramarized and described by analyzing the examples of capacitors application in typical circuit and comparing the capacitors performance parameters.The organic film capacitor is proposed to replace the tantalum electrolytic capacitor due to its advantages in ripple current capability,loss and capacitance stability in some special circuits such as bypassing,filtering,power switch,etc.
