Abstract

The story of Gone With The Wind based on the background of a plantation near Atlanta.The masterstroke of this novel is the love affair and life experience of Scarlett-the heroine.It described the life of South Americans before and after the Civil War lively.As the heroine-the most charming character in this novel,Scarlett had a polynary and complicated personality,which was manifested vividly and incisively in her three unsuccessful marriages.
