Abstract
Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) / vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2(VEGFR2) / neuropilin 1(NRP1) signal pathway has a close relationship with angiogenesis of glioma stem cell(GSC). Molecular imaging techniques targeted to VEGF/VEGFR2/NRP1 can afford a better understanding of the role of angiogenesis in tumor growth, invasion, and migration, which are very helpful for early diagnosis, treatment design, and predicting outcome. In this review, we summarized the targeted molecular imaging of VEGF/VEGFR2/NRP1 signal pathway and the relationship between VEGF/ VEGFR2/NRP1 signal pathway and vascular microenvironment of GSC.
