Abstract
Effect of hemihydrated gypsum on the properties of fly ash-lime-gypsum(FLG) cementitous materials was investigated. The results showed that with the increase of the content of hemihydrated gypsum, the normal consistency of cementitous materials increased, and the setting time was significantly decreased. The introduction of hemihydrated gypsum improved the early strength of the system and influenced the reaction rate of fly ash.Addition of hemihydrated gypsum changed the sensitivity of fly ahs-lime systems to curing environment, and it was important to determine a proper curing condition for this cementitous materials.
