From Region to Whole-A Study of Political History from the Social History Angle

Whether social history can be applied to study political history and how we can do so are being discussed in academic circles at the present time. The academicians, holding the opinion that social history is a kind of new paradigm, think social history not only has the capacity of studying political history, but also the capacity of studying it better. From the social history' angle, political history studies put the national macroscopic politics into history scene of regional society and reinterpret the traditional political history. The new trend of thought altered studies of traditional political history which only pay attention to macroscopic politics in itself evolution in the grand recount frame, but ignore the politics about how to influence daily life of the small potatoes. It makes the studies of political history more meticulous, more careful and closer to historical reality.
