Abstract
Objective To raise appropriated strategies to prevent the movement injuries during badminton activities.Methods 400 amateur players from 20 badminton groups in Guangzhou city were investigated by questionnaire survey,interview and field observation.Results The rate of sport injury was 91.73 % mainly caused by wrong technical movements(52.20%),lack of self-protection(33.07%) and insufficient preparation(30.75%).Main injury sites were wrist,knee and shoulder;the injury type mainly included ligament sprain,muscle strain,strain and scratches.Conclusion Due to high injury rate in Guangzhou amateur badminton players,appropriated prevention strategies should be taken in the future.
