Development of the enterprise logistics information system based on Datasnap

Abstract

In this paper, the disadvantages of the traditional two-tier architecture (Client/Server) management information system are analyzed,and the multi-tier distributed structure and the Datasnap technique introduced. Then the framework of the management information system with the multi-tier distributed structure based on Datasnap technique is given. The application of the Datasnap technique to the enterprise logistics information system is described in detail. The designing idea of the enterprise logistics information system is also introduced.
