Abstract
Objective:To explore the role of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) in pathogenesis of aplastic anemia (AA).Method:A total of 35 BALB/C mice were group randomly: normal control group (n=15) and model group (n=20). The model of immune-mediated aplastic anemia were established. The expressions of NF-κB mRNA, NF-κB/p65 and p-IκBα in bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMNCs) were detected with Q-PCR and immunohistochemistry, respectively.Result:Compared with the normal control group, there is no statistical change in the level of NF-κB mRNA (P0.05); however, the expression of NF-κB /p65 protein increased and p-IκBα decreased significantly (P0.01).Conclusion:Abnormal change in protein expression and activity of NF-κB may play a certain role in pathogenesis of AA.
