On Feminine Consciousness and Life Experience in Chen Ran's Texts

This paper attempts to explore text features of Chen Ran from the aspects feminism on the basis of some canonical novels written by Chen Ran who boasts such novel as Private Life, Say Good-bye to the Past,Nowhere to Say Good-bye, characterized by strong feminine consciousness. She tries to have a destructive writing of traditional men and women so as to describe the cleft of feminine narration from her own experience as a creative origin. She also tries to display her narcissistic tendency and strong feminine consciousness of women characters in her novel from the female viewpoint. Her spirit weapon to keep her independency and individuality and the resistance against the society is a reflection of her own intangibly spiritual loneliness, a life experience of her own. Most of the female protagonists in her novels all try to adventure, and to flee, especially spiritual escape. Her texts mixing with the deep experience of life and detailed and subtle depiction so as to exhibit the nature of women or human beings and the connation of life send profound shiver to the bone of the reader.
