Abstract

Sesame variety Ezhi No.5 was adopted to study the effect of different sowing dates and planting densities on sesame yield.The results showed there were remarkable responses about main traits and yield of sesame to sowing dates and planting densities.The suitable sowing date was the first ten days of June,and the proper planting density was from 150 000 to 225 000 per hectare.
