Abstract

The methods of estimating multibeam data quality based on uncertainty is becoming a new hotspot. On the basis of the IHO Standards for Hydrography(S-44),the evaluating methods of uncertainty for Hydrography data processing are analyzed, and the model of calculating the uncertainty of multibeam sounding data is studied.Experimental results indicate that the model for describing and evaluating the uncertainty of multibeam sounding data is credible.
