Abstract
Objective:To observe the effects of decoction of promoting Qi and activate blood to the iron metabolism of stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of the spleen in liver fibrosis with chronic hepatitis B patients. Methods:Sixty and five patients with stagnation of liver-QI with deficiency of the spleen in liver fibrosis with chronic hepatitis B were randomly divided into 2groups,namely treatment group(34 cases)and control group(31cases).Treatment group was orally administrated with decoction of promoting Qi and activate blood. The control group was orally treated with tablet compound Red-rooted Salvia.Serum hyaluronic acid(HA),serum procollagen type Ⅲ(PCⅢ),collagen type Ⅳ(ColⅣ),serum laminin(LN),serum iron, serum ferritin, serum transferrin were observed to evaluate the effects of the Chinese herb therapy to the liver fibrosis. Results:The level of serum HA,ColⅣ,serum iron, serum ferritin in treatment group were significantly get down compared with control group. The total effective rate was 85.3% that markedly higher than that the 58.1% of control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The decoction of promoting Qi and activate blood have some extent of anti-liver fibrosis effect and can significantly inhibit the levels of serum iron, serum ferritin.
