Abstract
Mesoporous TiO2 composite nano-films were prepared by sol-gel process,using butyl titanate as raw materials,doped with Fe3+ which is one of the transition metal elements,and surfactant cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB).The influence of Fe3+ and CTAB doping of mesoporous TiO2 composite nano-films on its performance as a photocatalyst in methyl orange had been studied.The experimental results show that under the effect of Fe3+ and CTAB,the photocatalytic activity of mesoporous TiO2 composite nano-films has been greatly improved.The preparation of catalyzer and various factors which influenced on the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange were also discussed.
