Abstract

The overhead launching gantry of slide shuttering form type has been widely applied to the construction of concrete continuous girder or continuous rigid-frame bridges owing to its characteristics of good construction quality,simple and safe operation,short working time schedule and low cost input.In this paper,with reference to the construction of the east approach bridge of Baling River Bridge on Zhenning-Shengjingguan Expressway in Guizhou,the structural principles and construction technology of the overhead launching gantry are described.
