Abstract
Dapinggou gold deposit is a medium-temperature dynamic metamorphic hydrothermal type deposit controlled by ductile shear zones. It is characterized mainly as altered mylonite type and with partly K-feldspar-quartz vein type. Ore textures are mainly blastic and metasomatic- infilling crystallization. Ore structures are mainly block, crumb, veinlet and disseminated. Gold in the ores appears as independent gold minerals like native gold, occurring in the major gold-carrying minerals like pyrite, chalcopyrite, quartz, K-feldspar and calcite at the state of inter-granular, interlocking, crevice and enclosure. With different shape, the gold minerals are commonly medium-fine grain size. The characteristics of the gold mineral are similar to those deposits in the metamorphic rocks of Archean greenstone belt in the eastern China.
