Abstract

Some advances of many scholars studying on lithosphere thinning in eastern China in recent years are reported.These results are chiefly the aspects of studying on lithosphere thinning thickness and the thinning region.These also include views of time of thinning taking place and the dynamic source of lithosphere thinning.The lithosphere thinning models mainly include: lithosphere mantle exchange,lithosphere delaminating,removal of lithosphere mantle,lithosphere depletion,lithosphere stretching.All these reflect more really the process of lithosphere thinning than before.
