Abstract
On the basis of the generalized constructional method of the basis function for even order B-spline, the uniformly-divided 6th B-spline function and its basis function were extended and constructed by subdivided reconstruction of time domain.Furthermore,the recurrence algorithm of the nestification method for the subinterval method of displacement element in the calculation of dynamic response was derived,its stability was analyzed,and the application in a bending beam was conducted. The static and dynamic calculation of structures shows that the physical concepts represented by the 6th B-spline basis function is clear and concise, the basis function has the good approximate property and adaptability,and the application of the even-order B-spline is feasible.The results of 6th B-spline obtained by mechanics method belong to the basic content of approximation theory and can be applied in various fields requiring approximation computation.
