Abstract
It is very important for busbar protection that when CT saturated, the reliability of busbar protection has influenced the safe and stable operation of electric power system. Analyzed the criteria of busbar protection, the sampling CT saturation arithmetic used for numberic busbar protection is presented in this paper. Combined with the sampling arithmetic for differential current protection, the high speed for operation and stability for CT saturation of busbar protection is satisfied.Hundred of protections using the theory have been served in electric power system.
