Abstract

Based on the amplification of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequence with the primers of ITS1 and ITS4, the suspected Baiyangdu strain was identified. The results showed that the ITS sequence of 26 strains (15 P. eryngii and 11 P. nebrodensis) registered in GenBank has similarity of 99% to that of Baiyangdu strain. According to the criterion of ITS sequence analysis and characteristics of white pileus and reticulate lamella, the Baiyangdu is identified as a highly affinis strain of P. nebrodensis and P. eryngii.
