Abstract
In paper the problem of removing inner knots from the knot sequence of a B-spline curve is discussed, where the theory of generalized inverse matrix is applied and then the necessary and sufficient condition for a inner knot of the B-spline curve being removable is obtained, based on which an algorithm of removing multi-knots is proposed.Experimental results show that the algorithm is reliable and efficient, hence can be applied to practice.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
