Abstract
CaTiO3 nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal method with Ca(NO3)2 and TiO(OH)2 as precursors. The nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction pattern(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The sizes and morphologies of the nanoparticles were controlled with the adjustment of various reaction parameters, such as the concentrations of the precursors,pH,temperature and time,et al.The results showed that the crystallization of CaTiO3 could complete at relatively low temperatures even at 130 ℃.What's more is that the CaTiO3 nanoparticles are highly pure and uniform in size due to the use of the organic base.Hydrothermal method is proved to be a very efficient method in the preparation of monodispersed CaTiO3 nanoparticles.
