Abstract
According to the spatial composing relations of the structural plane of slope, stereographic projection can be used to make the preliminary assessment of the stability state of slope, and carry out the slope stability analysis and calculation in studying the stability of rock slope. The application of stereographic projection and limit equilibrium method in Wanzhou Jiulong W2 dangerous rock mass stability analysis shows that stereographic projection method is an very important method on the study of the stability of rock slope.
