Abstract
This paper elaborates on the future expansion of the characteristic sports tourism of Hainan Province by using the methods of literature,induction,analysis,etc.It first defines characteristic sports tourism and then analyses the tourist resources of Hainan,on the basis of propounding some ways to expand tourism resources,such as relying on natural resources as well as traditional sports resources,The paper also offers a series of rational proposals on how to develop Hainan characteristic sports tourism.
