Abstract

The internal flow in the hydrocyclone is quite complex.Models based on CFD techniques have proven to be very useful for the flow simulation in the hydrocyclones, and the prediction of the size classification for the separator operated and designed in a wide range. Moreover, the dispersed phrase model predicts the classification efficiency of the hydrocyclone in the low concentration, which proves the results accord with the experimental data.
