Abstract
In order to obtain bigger larva of Miichthys miiuy and promote the development of breeding aquatics, the artificial controlled technology research on the gonad development of the fish by simulating their natural progenitive habitat including to controll the temperature, photoperiod and injecting hormone were conducted at Zhoushan. The results showed that it could spawn in June by menas of controlling temperature, photoperiod as well as injecting hormone, and moved up 3~4 month as compared with spawning in nature. It could spawn in August if only controlled temperature. It was not advance in spawning either regulating photoperiod or injecting hormone in spring. There were insignificant differences in fecundation ratio, hatching ratio and abnormality ratio between spawning in June and September or October. In addition, the controlled technology and the results between different adult fishes were herewith discussed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
