Abstract
Based on the automatic continuous PM10concentration observation data from December 15,2011 to December 30,2012 at Korla City, the pollution and variation characteristics of PM10 concentration were analyzed. The results showed as follows.(1)Affected by weather conditions and human activities, the daily variation of PM10mass concentration was characterized by obvious double peaks.(2)The PM10concentrations varied greatly during a week. The highest PM10concentrations was 274.8 μg·m-3on Monday, and the lowest was 196.7 μg·m-3on Wednesday.(3)The highest monthly average concentration was 562.1 μg·m-3in April, and the lowest was 107.4 μg·m-3in July, and the second highest concentration was 219.9 μg·m-3in December.(4)PM10mass concentration was the highest in spring and the lowest in summer. The general characteristic was that it was higher in autumn than that in winter. Every seasonal average concentration was higher than the second grade of the national standard.(5)Snowfall had obvious cleaning effect to PM10,and dust weather could make PM10concentrations increase rapidly.
