Abstract
Objective To evaluation of clinical value with 64-slice helical CT angiography in examination of pulmonary embolism. Methods 64-slice helical CT angiographic manifestation of 13 cases with pulmonary embolism were analyzed retrospectively. Results 13 cases include:5 central pulmonary embolism,3 lobar and segment pulmonary embolism,5 peripheral pulmonary embolism. The direct pulmonary embolism signs of CT angiography were the irregular filling defect in the pulmonary artery. Conclusion CT angiography for pulmonary embolism is an accurate and non-invasive technique that promises important clinical practice value.
