Abstract
On the basis of new varieties breeding and in order to shorten the generation interval and accelerate the breeding process,Hu sheep ewes were crossed with Suffolk rams to produce hybrid progeny ewes(F1 and F2 generations). There were 2/3 blood of Suffolk in F2 generations. The trials of estrus synchronization were applied on the hybrid progeny ewes in anoestrus season. There were 107 F1 and 72 F2 ewes treated in April, and 105 F1 and 69 F2 were finally in estrus. The synchronization rate were 97.23% and 95.83%,the pregnancy rates were 67.69%(73/108) and 44.93%(31/72) in first service respectively.89 pregnant F1 ewes lambed 144,the rate of lambing was 161.64%,while 29 pregnant F2 ewes lambed 37,the rate of lambing was 127.59%.
