The problems and solutions of the sustainable utilization of water resources in Anhui Province

Water resources are the important material base of national economy.The water resources in Anhui are rich but with the rapid development of the economy and because of the natural and man-made reasons,the protection and the sustainable uti lization of water resources in Anhui province are confronting a severe challenge.Based on the analysis of the present situation and characteristics of the water resources in Anhui,this paper points out the main problems existing in the sustainable utilization of wa ter resources in Anhui and brings up the corresponding solutions.
