On the Nationality of ZHU Yuanzhang

Abstract
The traditional opinion holds that Zhu Yuanzhang was of the Han nationality and the Ming Dynasty was a Han-ruled dynasty, while in 1990s some said he belonged to the Huis, whose evidences were not confirmed. In fact, we can see his identity from his religious belief, life and funeral customs; besides, his ideas and policies before and after the founding of his country all showed that he was of Han nationality.
