Abstract

Objective To investigate the external application and conventional Western medicine in treatment of herpes zoster clinical efficacy.Methods 80 patients inour hospital were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,the control group treated with conventional Western medicine,the treatment group in the control group based on the use of external application of Chinese medicine.Results After treatment,the treatment group the total effective rate was 95.0%,significantly higher than the efficiency of the treatment(77.5%),the treatment group were significantly better than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion The external application of conventional Western medicine in treatment of herpes zoster with quick,effective,and inexpensive,has a certain clinical reference value.
