The Empirical Research on Services Trade Competitiveness and its Influencing Factors of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Chongqing

This paper analyzes the services trade developing status of Beijing,Tianjin,Shanghai and Chongqing,and then it makes comparative analysis of their services trade competitiveness based on the RCA index.Meanwhile,based on the statistical panel data between 2001 and 2010,this paper uses the method of unit root test,cointegration test and error correction model to research the way each selected factors affecting the four cities’ services trade competitiveness,and the result indicates that there exist long-term and short-term equilibrium relationship between services trade competitiveness and the seven influencing factors.Finally,the suggestions are proposed to speed up the development of the four cities’ trade in services.
