Abstract

Paxillin is a cell adhesion related phosphoric protein, which mainly located on adhesion plaque.Regulated by Phosphorylation, paxillin takes part in cell adhesion and migration. Many study showed that it was related to many malignant biological characters of tumor. The present review focused on the evidence of the structure of paxillin and the role it plays in tumor metastasis.
