Abstract
FENG You-lan is a famous philosopher who proposed the Theory of Realm,which are natural realm,utilitarian realm,moral realm and heaven realm.Poetic symbols are used by Chan Sect poetry that expresses the gradations of satori of soul.The study suggested that Chan Sect poetry does not separate natural realm from utilitarian realm.Moral realm is the first realm of satori of soul.Heaven realm is the final realm of satori of soul.This study could enlighten modern people while they are pursuing material well-being,and they should simultaneously pursue spiritual life to a higher state.
