Abstract

Objective:To determine the relationship of serum β2-MG level with clinical types in patients with chronic hepatitis B.Methods:A total of 30 patients with different clinical types of chronic hepatitis B were divided into three groups (severe, moderate, and mild type),20 health persons were enrolled in control group.Serum β2-MG levels in different clinical types and control group were analyzed. Results:Serum β2-MG levels was higher significantly in severe, moderate and mild chronic hepatitis B than control group (P0.01),serum β2-MG level was higher in severe type than moderate type [(4.97±2.09)ng/L vs (3.79±0.52)ng/L,P0.05].And it was higher in moderate type than mild type[(3.79±0.5)ng/L vs (3.06±1.14)ng/L,P0.05].Conclusion:Serum β2-MG level is positively related with the severity degree of hepatitis.
