Karyotype analysis of Bidens parviflora chromosome

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To study the evolution,identification and fine seeds selection through Bidens parviflora chromosome number,karyotype and volume.METHODS Sections and micrograph were used.RESULTS The normal diploid 2n=48,karyotype formula was based on Levan's publication in 1964,K(2n)=4X=48=24 m+18 sm+6 st.According to the method of Kou SR,the species chromosome based on the relative length was 2n=48=6 L+16 M 2+22 M 1+4S,which belonged to 2B type.The total length of chromosome groups was 35.03 μm,the total length of long arms 22.53 μm,and the AS.K% was 64.32%.The total volume of chromosome was 11.63 μm 3.CONCLUSION Bidens parviflora chromosome number,morphological character was found clear.
