Abstract
Objective To summarize the treating scheme of severe acute pancreatitis.Methods The medical records of 86 patients with severe acute pancreatitis were reviewed. Among them, 48 cases were treated surgically,38 were treated nonsurgically .Results In this series, 15 patients died with the mortality of 17.4%.The surgical cure rate was 77.1%(37/48) and the mortality was 22.9%(11/48).The nonsurgical cure rate was 89.5%(34/48) and the mortality was 10.5%(11/48).Conclusion In order to ameliorate the cure rate of severe acute pancreatitis, it is important to adopt individual treating scheme and combined therapy.
