Abstract

Multimedia courseware assisted instruction has been welcomed by the teachers because of it increased the manifestation forms of information,but some teachers can′t use the courseware making software correctly on account of they were not familiar with the types and characteristics of material collecting and processing software.In this paper we introduced and analyzed the characters of the often used softwares,such as the Word for word processing,the GoldWave for audio making,the CorelDraw and the Photo Studio for graphic and image making,the Personal AVI Editor for video making,the Animator Studio and Cool 3D for animation making,and the PowerPoint,Founder Author,Action,Authorware and Dreamweaver for multimedia courseware making.We analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of them,and recommend the alternative software for different people and different application range,it provided reference for choosing the software in the material collecting and processing and multimedia courseware making.
