Abstract

As a theoretical study in complexometric titration, it was found that when metal ion T with itsK'TYK'MYused as back titrant, the pT change in the vicinity of the equivalence point ( titration break) is the same as the pM changein the direct titration of M , the titration error levels of these two kindsof titration are also equal. This has been proved by a potentiometric measurement The mV changes in the vicinity of the equivalence point are equal in both kinds of titration, which conforms to the theoretical calcul ation from the pM or pT change.
