Effect of nanometer SiO_2 on polyester fiber spinning ability

Abstract

The nanometer SiO_2 with different content charge ratio was feeded into the polymerization reaction system.The PET/ SiO_2 composite material was prepared through in situ polymerization method.Also the spinning experiments was carried out with the material.The determination results showed that the spinning temperature of this composite material was decreased about 15 ℃.It was proved by the DSC and heatable stage polarizing microscope that in the temperature falling process,the initial temperature of the crystallite was 5~20 ℃ lower than that of the reference sample,but the crystallization rate was rapid.The rheological experiment proved that the PET/nano-SiO_2 chip showed better flowability at 270 ℃.This provide basis for the setting up of spinning temperature.
