Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy and diverse effect of FLAG regimen in the treatment of relapsed/refractory acute leukemia. Methods Fifteen patients with relapsed/refractory acute leukemia were treated with FLAG regimen. The patients received intravenous infusion of fludarabine [30 mg/(m2·d) over 30 min] and Ara-C [2 g/(m2·d) over 4 h] for 5 d;subcutaneous injections of G-CSF(300 μg/d) were given, starting 1 d prior to chemotherapy and continuing until neutrophil reached over 0.5×109/L.Results Ten out of 15 patients achieved CR,one patient achieved PR and four were nonresponsive, with the CR rate of 66.7% and the overall effective rate of 73.3%.The toxicity was mainly bone marrow suppression. Conclusion The FLAG regimen is effective and well tolerated by most patients with relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia; The regimen offers an opportunity for hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation.
