Abstract
Linearity simulation is used in hydrological calculation.Least Square Method is often applied to simulate linear generally, but this method doesn't have the double direction and can't reach the whole optimal effect. In order to improve its precision,it adopts Least Distance Square Method for linearity simulation. This method considers the deviation of x and y.It makes the sum of linear distance square between point and line minimum.Comparing to traditional method, its linear equation is not changed by the selection of coordinate system and its result is more practically.A case study is applied to discuss it primarily.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
