Abstract

The coal resources based cities are confronted with the problems of disordered layout of urban land and industrial land,unbalanced industrial structure,deteriorating ecological environment and poor living environment etc.because of the long-term exploitation of coal.This paper presents to construct compact regional spatial structure,and explores the pattern and approach of the urban spatial optimization of coal resources based cities with Xiaoyi city as an example.
