Abstract
[Objective] To study the relationship between serum C-reactive protein(CRP)level in early period of the patients with acute pancreatitis(AP)and pancreatic CT grade and prognostic factors, and to analyze the clinical value of serum CRP levels in early period in the classification and prognosis of acute pancreatitis.[Methods]Forty three cases who fall ill in 12h and were diagnosed AP on the basis of clinic symptom and sign,serum-amylase detection and pancreatic CT were selected.Serum CRP was measured by immunoturbidity method. And the types of AP were evaluated after seven days.Patients were divided into two groups depending on the level of CRP:group Ⅰ with the level of CRP≤3mg/dL,and group Ⅱ with the level of CRP3mg/dL.The relevance of CRP and pancreatic CT grade to prognostic indicators(blood calcium, fat, sugar, blood gas analysis,et al)in two groups was analyzed.[Results] In group Ⅱ,prognostic parameters effecting AP were higher than those in group Ⅰ,and their difference was significant(P0.05).Meanwhile the incidence of severe acute pancreatitis in patients with pancreatic CT grade over C in group Ⅰ was also higher than that in group Ⅱ,and their difference was significant(P0.05).[Conclusion]The determination of CRP level in early time in patients with AP has an important reference value for predicting condition early, judging the severity and prognosis, and guiding clinical treatment.
