Abstract
Reforms of Chinese modern and contemporary literature teaching should be carried out through contents and methods of teaching,but the constraining factors of teaching reforms also should not be overlooked.The characteristics of knowledge,literary,humanism and academic should be embodied in the Chinese modern and contemporary literature teaching contents.The reforms of teaching methods involve increasing discussion in classes,allowing students to participate in the teaching process and extracurricular activities and use multimedia as well.The constraining factors of Chinese modern and contemporary literature contain appraisal methods,teacher evaluation system and the teaching environment;therefore,the reforms of these three aspects are also important.
