Abstract
The coating’s performances for acid electroless plating, alkaline electroless plating and multi-component plating were compared. The corrosion resistances of three coatings were tested by weight-loss method and the polarization curves for coating in hydrochloric acid and sodium chloride solution were measured. The hardness changes of three coatings different temperatures were analyzed and the X-ray diffraction patterns of coating before and after heat-treatment were recorded. The results show that the corrosion resistance of Ni-Cu-P multi-element coating is the best followed by acid coating and the alkaline coating is the poorest; after heat-treatment at 400-500 °C,the Ni-Cu-P coating has the highest hardness and best wear resistance.
